No formal qualifications are necessary for the Reflexology Practitioner Diploma Course but ideally the Practitioner should be healthy and fairly mobile with an interest in Anatomy and Physiology and Holistic Healthcare.
COURSE FORMAT
The Course consists of practical and theoretical study – Anatomy and Physiology are taught as an integral part of the course and Home study sheets are given and can be used in conjunction with the revision papers for the final exams.
ASSESSMENT
§ Written examination paper 2 hours
§ Practical assessment 1.25 hours
§ 3 assignments assessed during course
§ 6 case studies (as part of recorded 70 treatment hours)
HOME STUDY
Home study will be approximately 5 hours per week on average, allowing 10 hours per week in the last 4 months to complete case studies.
TUTOR GROUP
The group will be small, allowing excellent personal contact with the tutors.
COMPULSORY CONTACT TUTOR TIME IS 100 HRS.
The course consists of daytime alternate weeks from 10am to 3pm with 2 additional workshops during the year. Exams will be 10-12 months after the start date providing all coursework has been completed and assessed by the tutors.
However, these courses are modular and can be re-joined if there are prolonged absence for illness or personal reasons. Please telephone the Principal Tutor for any further information or concerns.
This course requires dedication and application and an interview with the Principal before enrolling is recommended. No refunds can be given except for extenuating circumstances, which may include bereavement or serious illness.
